This month in Dark Avengers #1, Morgan Le Fay makes a brief cameo, as she's seen spying on Dr. Doom and his fellow members of their secret cabal comprised of villains.

Apparently, she still has it in for Doom for betraying her, and at the end of this issue she confronts Doom and begins to mystically attack him:
Unfortunately, the story ends there, so the full battle will be shown in the next issue. In Mighty Avengers #21, Modred has made the decision to become the living embodiment of the Darkhold, as every spell and verse now flows through his body:

Modred then helps Cthon take possession of Quicksilver's body to use as his vessel:

It will be interesting to see where both these stories progress from here.

Thanks for the heads up LS. I'm only picking up a few Marvel titles consistently, and in TPB form, so I'm still waiting for books like Captain Britain and MI:3, etc. Glad I'll have a chance to see what's going on with Captain Britain and the other UK-centric characters while I wait. Though in the end I'm sure it won't help my wallet too much! Heh.
ReplyDeleteSo dang excited about Meggan's return (with a wee measure of cautious optimism)!
Certainly an interesting issue, this one. Cap & a couple of MI13 characters are due for a cameo in the next issue of Mighty - the first proper appearance outside their own title.
ReplyDeleteIt'll be interesting also to see where they go with Lefay. It's been a while since we saw her and Doom getting it on in the past.
Of course, for all Doom fans, you must pick up Captain Britain and MI13 #10 this Wednesday (Or Thursday in the UK). Doom and Dracula are hatching a plot, on the moon of all places. How can you not want to pick THAT up?
Hey Mark, it's good to see you here
